Great Patrol Boat

I really enjoyed this set. It has many components for imaginative play; the patrol boat, a RHIB, and the shark. Great figure selection and I was happy to see the included hair pieces that could be swapped out instead of the helmets. The build process was simple and easy to follow. The installation of the hose around the deck might be difficult for a 6 year old, but it will challenge them in a positive way. I was not expecting the boat to be so big, that was a positive surprise and made it feel worth the cost.

Doesn't float

My son really wanted this set because he saw the box boasting that it floated. He built like a boy on a mission and went immediately to set sail in the tub. Disappointment ahead! It tips over and sinks! He's pretty bummed. It's a pretty cool looking boat though.

Great Set for Young Child

As the title suggests it’s a great set for a beginner Lego builder and the perfect amount of challenge for them. The playability of the set is great too and he enjoys putting it in the bathtub all the time. The cost feels a touch high for piece count, but the boat hull is a large piece so that helps out some. He loves the shark it comes with too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun and easy assembly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time assembling Legos and I would say it was fun to put together. It's a nice activity to do with family or friends. The only downside is that it says it floats, but it didn't float for me.
