appears to be a solid, well built stand mixer. When mixing or kneading dough, the attachments do not come close enough to the bottom of the mixing bowl. Other than that, I like the machine. I would prefer that the leaver/button which allows the top to be lifted, would be on the side and NOT on the back.

I bought this in January as my belated Christmas gift. I didn' t realize how much I would enjoy this product. It makes cooking so much easier and the cake I made was flufflier than when I used my hand mixer.

I've always wanted a stand mixer. I do a lot of cooking and baking and always used a hand mixer.
I bought the Cuisinart Stand Mixer and used it Super Bowl Sunday to make special cookies.
No more mess and easy to clean.
BTW cookies were delicious.

This replaces my old Jenn-Aire mixer that couldn't handle much over 3 cups of flour, and started burning up and smoking. This one looks good on the counter, and doesn't even get warm when mixing bread dough, and I like the fact that there's enough room around the sides to get a spatula in there to scrape the sides. I am very pleased with this mixer and highly recommend it, especially for those who bake a lot of breads.
