I have owned a stand mixer for many years and it has served me well. It was time to replace it and I looked at the precision Master 5.5 Qt and I liked what I saw and read about it. I have now used it a few times since I purchased it and am very happy with it. It is not as heavy a my previous one so I like that.

The mixer has a lot of plastic pieces. The bowl is big enough, but it doesn’t seem like the whip and the paddle get all the way to the edges to mix thoroughly. The speed doesn’t seem as fast as my previous KitchenAid. I thought I was getting a deal but now I’m not sure.

Classically stylish, solid, dependable, easy to use and clean - this stand mixer does everything I need it to do and looks great doing it! About the only thing I'd change is adding an offset function so it'd be easier to add ingredients while mixing and get at the edges of the bowl. Apart from that, it's perfect for a frequent home baker.
