My mixer gave up the ghost and I have had it for 19 yrs. So I had to go shopping. I looked at Kitchen Aide ( was the one I had ) but was really out of my price range. So checked ratings on stand mixers and I noticed Cuisinart had good ones. I found one on sale with reasonable price. So I purchased it. I love it!!! It is sturdy and easy to use. Very happy I purchased this mixer.

It looks great on the counter and is easy to use. Not excessively noisy. It stays in place while running. I really like it. I've only used it to make pizza dough so far and the dough turned out great. I used the "dough" setting for the first batch and the "manual" setting for the second one.
