These F1 cars are fun and easy to build and i purchased 2 six packs to get a variety of cars for everyone to build and play with. Instead, I got 7 of the same car (out of 12). I know there's no guarantee that you'll get a certain car, or even a variety of cars, but this was still very disappointing.
I had seen review complaining about getting multiples of the same cars in a box. I am assuming Lego has done something about that as I purchased two boxes and got all twelve cars without a duplicate. Fun break at work while waiting for files to load, only takes a couple of minutes to build each.
I now own my first FERRARI! I ordered three 6-pack sets after reading the reviews, hoping to get all 12 models. The first two sets I opened fulfilled my hope and I have yet to open the third set of six. The individual details of the 'painted' pieces are precise, and along with the different helmet visor transparency-colors, are what makes this set fun. As always, extra bricks are included in every individual pack, and I have yet to receive any set with missing bricks. Fun little racers, watch out Hot Wheels!
I got two boxes of these as a gift. Like another reviewers experience, I also ended up with two identical boxes. Clearly are not random cars in each box which is disappointing since according to the description they should be.
I got two boxes for my daughter, but I suppose I should have listened to the warnings from others in the reviews on this page as we, too, received two identical boxes. I suppose that's on me. A few identicals were expected (though we hoped for a complete set of 12), but they shipped us two identical boxes, which is just too much and caused us to purchase the missing cars from a third-party vendor at twice the cost. A shame, really. I wouldn't recommend to get two boxes, but instead purchase one box and see about the six missing elsewhere so you know you don't end up with six doubles.
Pro: Build was simple and quick. Good for beginners. Cons: Duplicates in the same box. The first step doesn't show all the directions. Wants: More helmet options to match real drivers. Faces on the head pieces.
