First, I own almost all of the modulars but 2. This one maybe 3k pieces but the building itself seems small especially after building the museum. As usual the detail is fantastic no stickers, and rather enjoyable build. This will look good along side the others. Hoping next years modular tops 5k pieces.

I buy these sets & build them for my grandchildren to play with, ages 11 and 6. This set has lots of wonderful details that would make this a fun set to play with but they are not accessible. Sadly only the person building the set will know all the little details. Like the food in the oven, vacuum in the closet, small bathroom, etc. Even the 6 year old's hand is too big to open the oven door to even see the food inside. You can open the closet door & look at vacuum maybe with 2 little fingers pull it out but definitely not going to get it back into place after that. Two doors in a cramped space to see the little bathroom & then you will need a flashlight to just look at it, there is no way to actually put a mini fig in there. My grand kids have a wonderful imagination and would spend hours playing with this set if only the spaces for all the rooms were not so cramped preventing play. Will just have to sit on a shelf for looks.
I studied architecture and the Tudor buildings happen to be my all time favorite. Was so excited to get this. While I see others arrived late, mine was on time but I am just now getting time to build. I love the color of the brick on the photos. The color of brick I got is the weird peachy tan color of crayon you used to use as "skin" as a child of the 80s. You can't unsee that. I really struggled with the main level having the loo doorway bricks not interconnecting to anything else. That makes things very unsteady feeling.

Not the Best modular building

Set looks great online and was waiting for it to arrive. Assembly seemed to lack the "tightness of pieces" Set seems to feel wobbly. As an adult builder I open all pieces to make the build a little harder but regret doing that with this set. Out of the 15 modular buildings I've built this is the worse.

I have bought most modular buildings and the building techniques of this build were lacking. Past modulars you build as a cohesive set. Every piece interlocking with others. Too many steps in this build was outside of this. Building a whole wall section and then adding it to the overall build. Building windows then adding it. These type of build elements cause the sets to feel piece mealed and not a whole unit. The top floor seemed to have a lot of unnecessary steps just to add piece count to the build. Was excited about this set and now I can't finish it.

The general theme is a German style rustic building that does not work with the rest of the vibrant colored buildings in the City
Compared to the other buildings in this set, this one is very boring. A hat maker and a clock maker? Snooze! It feels like lego has run out of ideas for this set. Out of all the buildings in this set, this is my least favorite. It’s boring in design and in the build. Sitting there putting together ten clocks got really old, really fast. I hope next year’s building is better than this one. If not, I’m not wasting anymore of my money on this set. What a disappointment.
