very fun build

the space shuttle part was extremely fun, the aspect of being able to store landing gear was off the chain.
the actual plane was alright; not very fun but you have to get it done. everything other than the windows is a sticker, 8 hours
I would recommend this to a friend!

1. they gave me a piece with an error on it. the error was the shape of the piece.
2.not shelf-friendly.
and 3. the engines on the wings always fall off.
otherwise, it's great to have around, play with, and put on display.

A few kinks could be worked out but its satisfying

Had an issue with the front end. The section under the pilots seemed to fall off easily. That along with the turbines on the wings. Otherwise very cool to display. Love flying with them. Wish the wheels could work after being built but its cool that they work. Love that the shuttle opens up and has changeable pieces. Built with girlfriend and took about 11 hours in one day both working on it. Once the gears for the wheels are built for the most part goes by much faster. I was satisfied but I wouldve wanted a few things slightly better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great but missing piece

its a great build but it is missing one piece. first time this has happened and for some reason i cant get in touch with lego to get the last part. no reponse or help. kinda of frustrating. expected better from them.

Shuttle Carrier Aircraft

I am an Aviation buff and love all things Aviation, saw this set and knew I had to have it and add it to my collection next to the Pan Am DC 3 and Concorde, I will honestly say this set is great for what it is but is a bit of a disappointment because of the size compared to other sets, it still looks great just wish it was a bit larger, assembly took about 2 days as I took breaks, in the end I will gladly recommend this set if you also like things Aviation

MIssing Parts Galore

Every bag has been missing 2-3 parts
I have been able to steal parts from upcomming bags to keep going to a point,
each time its 2-3 weeks to receive the missing parts-Its a total buzz kill to have to stop building for weeks on end just to restart and find more missing pieces

Missing parts are no fun and it's not the experience we want our fans to have. We're sorry that you've had pieces missing and you've had to wait for you're replacements. Your requested parts will ship from Denmark and should be with you soon so you can finish your build.

Fun to build and a nice display set!

I have the Concorde and was hesitant about buying another airplane model that would live up to the same fun experience I had with the Concorde. This definitely did! The details are pretty cool and it brought my family great memories from when they saw this shuttle transport live! It's a fun set, def recommended!
