So Very Pretty!

I had a great time putting each piece together; the final result is absolutely amazing and so pretty! As a collector of LEGO Botanical line, I hope they eventually release a larger-scale flower arrangement. A set featuring an assortment of vibrant flowers in a 6-to7-inch tall pedestal vase would be incredible!

Bought the flower arrangement "for my wife" since she loves flowers and plants but they tend to die in our kitchen unless I water them. This was actually a fun build and she loves the looks of these and I don't have to worry about watering them. Don't tell her I said that.

Great set

Overall a great set. There were some steps that were a bit tricky, but with some perseverance were solvable. The flowers were interesting. I love how random shapes like sea shells and umbrellas combine to make flowers. The design of the top of the vase, using well placed posts to hold flowers, allows the user to organize the bouquet with more precision than with the typical long stem bouquets. I used that concept to build a purple vase with legos we had and used flowers from the wild flower bouquet. You can also combine flowers from the pink bouquet with this one which allows for more flower arranging fun.

Challenging but Very Rewarding Set

I honestly bought this set because I wanted flowers in my kitchen that I didn't have to replace. It really is a beautiful set once completed. I have already ordered additional flower sets so I can add to it and rearrange when I feel like it. The vase has room to add flowers and rearrange the floral arrangement, which is a really nice feature. I'm a fairly advanced builder, but I found this set to be a good challenge. Many Lego sets are intuitive how they fit together, but this set requires very specific placement for many of the pieces to fit together properly. It was a rewarding challenge to complete, even when I had to retrace the steps and rebuild some of the more complicated flowers. My only comment to the Lego staff is on the Hydrangeas: The top of the flower head is made with 1 butterfly surrounded by 4 more. The 4 butterflies are sunk lower than the surrounding flowers and should be offset higher by one round plate (614123 or 4566522). I have ordered the spare parts to add them. they make the Hydrangeas look more rounded.

flimsy lily

I didn't have trouble with the "vase." I thought the "frog" for the placement was genius. But I have NO idea how you got the lily to look like the picture on the box. And I have no idea how, with its tiny stem, I'm supposed to insert the flimsy lily LAST into the bouquet. It continually fell apart. And that stem - it's just too short. Disappointing to have that happen at the end of the build. Even if I glued the lily together - it. won't look like the one on the box and I couldn't fit it into the completed bouquet because the stem is just too short.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been doing legos for a lifetime. When my son was little, we built trains, race cars, gas station. The list goes on. I think doing the flowers are my favorite. Love this kit. This is my 4th flower kit and maybe my favorite. Highly recommended
