Not great in less than perfect weather conditions.

As a safety feature it shuts down if it isn’t getting hot enough. Even on a warm day if it’s windy you’re not going to be able to use your grill, incredibly inconvenient.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. While weather can play a role in how your grill works, there are ways to make sure your cook runs smoothly. For a windy day, place your grill out of the wind's direct path. Humidity from rain might cause the ignition to take longer but clean the fire pot of sawdust and ash to make it easier. When it is really hot keep the grill out of the direct sun and in cold weather you might use more pellets to maintain the temp. The ignition might take longer and the screen can be darker. With all of the weather conditions, we recommend cooking to internal temp vs time. You can check our support site to see if your grill has a compatible insulation blanket and to learn about weather effects on grilling.

Awesome grill. Amazing directions. Very easy for my wife and I to put it together. Cooked a few steaks and chicken breasts and they came out perfect. Only problem so far has been hooking up the WiFi. Can’t get it to work yet. I think the bricks around my house may be interfering with it. I will move the grill in front of my windows and see if that helps get it working.

Great Grill!

I bought the Woodridge Pro pellet grill a little over a month ago. Overall, the grill has worked out well for me. It's easy to clean and maintain than any other grills that I have owned. The only concern I have, is that it takes about 45 minutes to preheat. I have contacted support and told me that it's normal for the newer pellet grills to take that long since they are touchscreen. Other then the time it takes to preheat the grill is great and I would highly recommend it!

Picked up Woodridge Pro this weekend. Assembly was straight forward with good instructions. Seasoning was a simple process. Made some simple Baby Back ribs. Compared to a charcoal smoker I used previously ribs were night and day. Great flavor and smoker performance's was exceptional. Upgrade to a pellet smoker was well worth the money.

This is my first smoker of any kind. It went together easily. Great instructions and packages labeled appropriately. Connecting to wifi and the app was simple. followed to a T. I have cooked on it 3 times in over 1 week. I noticed it goes through a lot of pellets. However, this is a large cooking area, 860 sq in. It seemed to hold the heat well. I had a lot of wind one day, and that seemed to effect the temperature. So far i like what this can do. Looking forward to playing more with recipes. Very happy with this grill, especially in the price range.
