Bosch 800 series

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have never ownes a Bosch dishwasher before but when out Kitchenaid washer died we decided to try Bosch due to a recommendation from a friend. I have been very impressed with how clean our dishes are after wash. I was concerned initially about the washer not having a drying heat coil but I have not noticed any wet dishes after washing. The washer is super quiet and has a red light hologram on our floor to tell me when its washing and when it is done. I watched all videos from Bosch on how to load dishes and all were great. Top rack for cutlery, bowls on second rack with glasses and plates for bottom rack. 5 stars Bosch

Bosch Panel Ready Dishwasher Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our household purchased the series 800 Bosch dishwasher. We love the flexibility of different cycles and especially the ability to choose a Speed 60 cycle for quick jobs. Love the sanitize and Crystal Dry features.
We replaced our old Bosch of 20 years with this one. Some things I miss are the old dishwasher basket design and the ability to place large items flat on the bottom rack. A section of the tines in our old dishwasher completely laid down. I would also recommend an option of the very top rack made of the sam materials of the bottom two. We named our dishwasher Harry, after the TV show!

Great quality, questionable design choices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this unit as a replacement for an older 300 series unit.
While it is the "direct replacement", it is 7/16" deeper than the older unit, which unfortunately meants the new dishwasher isn't flush with the cabinets.

The touch buttons aren't intuitive/easy to use - you have to wait for the unit to respond to the power on press, then once you touch start you have 4 seconds to close the door - unnecessary complexity. Old unit had real (push) buttons that responded immideately and worked well.
Another questionable decision - utensils rack. While a great idea (in principle), the door (with the added weight of the wood panel) slams hard when it closes (too much tension in the spring), which in turn makes all the neatly arranged utensils fly in different directions and not stay neatly organized for optimal wash/dry. The result - poorly washed utensils, with water pooled in spoons that (should be) on their side if the door did not slam and mess everything up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As quiet as advertised. We can't hear it running which is great. Third rack for silverware is nice, but often leaves dried on food. Best to rinse the silverware before loading the unit.

We love our dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quiet dishwasher that cleans extremely well. What I enjoy most is the third rack for utensils and other small items. This frees up space in the other racks. Was easy to install (I installed the counter face) and easy to use. Highly recommend
