This set took some time to build, but my son felt very satisfied when it was finished. He likes how Zolo was made to hold his sword in his mouth and how it comes with four LEGO Wanted posters. He also enjoyed seeing the contents of the treasure chest. I would highly recommend this set if you have the time to build it.

I love collecting anything One Piece. The only disappointment factor was that I got 3 of the same wanted posters. I know it’s random but three of the same is kind of absurd.

The Going Merry was such a fun build and I loved the different materials including when building this set, like the flags were an actual flag instead of a large rectangular piece with stickers! It was such a treat, my only complaint is that since the wanted posters ARE random that it is likely to get multiples of the same character. For example, I got one Gol D. Roger but THREE Buggy's. Buggy is cool and all, but the fact I got three of him is absurd. Wish there was a way to trade!
Straw Hats first ship with all of the Straw Hats (so far) the ultimate set for One Piece fans

This a incredible Pirate Ship. And a well made replica of a iconic ship from both anime and live action.

... I very much struggled to follow the build instructions, and ended up building multiple bags several times. The back end of my ship doesn't slide in, and that makes it impossible to go all the way back and fix - I've just removed a few pieces and put the end back in , in an attempt to get it in. From how I'll display it, I don't think it'll matter, but it's been very frustrating, especially as I own loads of LEGO sets (maybe 30-40 big ones? :)) The flags look nice with the sun shining through them, glad it's going in a display case though as any pressure I might apply in picking it up, or moving it, if grabbed in the wrong place, the whole thing feels liable to collapse. Lots of unnecessary very internal pieces for those of us that build/display rather than actually interact with.
