Great build that got me back into LEGO

I stopped building Lego sets when I was about 12 or 13, but after seeing this set online I got the urge to build a set again.
Picked this up the other night at the store, took me a couple hours to build.
I was technically missing a piece from bag 9 but I had an extra piece from a previous bag that was the same so it didn’t end up mattering.
Overall I had a great time building, and how can you not just love the going merry in general? Honestly a no brainer purchase for me and I have no regrets

My family loves One Piece and Legos, so the Going Merry set was the perfect pick! Building it was super fun for both kids and adults, and I will always cherish the joy we shared. Though inspired by the show, Lego did an amazing job recreating the ship—it’s very close to the anime and manga! I especially love the intricate details, from Sanji’s kitchen to Nami’s orange trees. I highly recommend this set for all ages.

Fantastic set with awesome character designs for the minifigs. Getting the entire straw hat crew from East Blue in one set is really sweet. The Merry looks awesome whether you're a live action or anime fan. Great attention to detail on the ship from the masthead to the tangerine trees. The are especially detailed with Zoro's 3 sword style and Nami's faces. Can't wait for the next series so we can get our boy Chopper on the ship too.

Purchased this set today and am so impressed. The build was straightforward and easy enough to assemble. There was not much for repetitive building save for a few small areas. I love how the set "clicks" together in different areas that allow access to the various parts of the ship. If I had one issue, it is that there really is not a place to store weapons/gear/hair when swapping them out for the different characters, but not a huge issue. I would love to see Nami with a Berrie sign face print and Sanji with the little heart eyes face print hopefully in the future. I am also hoping a set comes out with rest of crew down the line. I ended up with 3 unique wanted posters and one duplicate. Can't wait to get the rest of them!

First of all I was not going to buy this set I was going to buy a different set because this set the going merry was not available yet last time I bought that arlong park set but then there iy was just waiting for me i bought it got home my wife face once she saw the set she was beyond happy it took us like 6 hours to build but it was so worth it if you love the anime trust me you will love every single set their is available I have 3 sets already I only need 2 more to have al 5 sets
