The unit with an open back cabinet is open to critters and looks unfinished. For the overall price it seem like weber could have closed off the rear cabinet. Not so happy,

Thank you for providing your honest feedback regarding the Spirit E-310.
While this model is designed with an open rear access for the removeable grease tray. We do recommend using a Premium grill cover to keep the area somewhat not exposed. Bringing the grease tray inside is also an option if you are worried about critters getting into it.
We appreciate you sharing your experience, as customer feedback like yours helps inform future product development. Thank you again for choosing Weber!
My old Weber grill needed all new functional parts and the cost seemed prohibitive so I bought a new one. Love the new grill. I especially like the new way of lighting each burner with the igniter as part of each "on" knob. The new design of various other parts are a decided improvement over my Spirit grill from 11 years ago. I can highly recommend this Weber grill.
Got this grill for Father’s Day after having a charcoal Weber for years. So far, so great with this thing. Heats up quick, cooks evenly across the grill and easy to handle. Highly recommend!
At this point I'm not sure It gets as hot as the gauge says it is.

This is my second Weber Grille. The first grill was excellent and lasted over 10 years in my possession. The new grill was purchased just over 4 years ago and has started total self destruction. The Stainless steel tables and control panel are rusting though they have never been introduced to steel or exposed to weather and the castered wheels are actually disintegrating.Really disappointed in a product I once respected and gladly recommended which I can no longer do.
