i’ve been wanting a Eco flow unit for a while now and this Delta two hits the sweet spot. I’m glad I actually waiting for this new remodel (delta 2) to come out as it is superior in almost every way to me versus the old outgoing model. I purchased this unit for emergencies and to use in Lieu of my gas/propane generator. It’s nice to have options! It certainly gives me peace of mind, knowing I am prepared . I really like using the app, and it is quite useful. Would be nice if it had a light built-in and maybe wireless phone charger but I’m just nitpicking. I know I made the right purchase for myself and my family by getting the Delta 2.

I bought my Delta 2 bundled with the 160w solar panel and a 220w bifacial solar panel at the end of Nov. 2022. Ihave gone through 7 generators in 4 years living in SE Oklahoma. My delta 2 can fun my unefficient old apartment sized refrigerator freezer combo for about 8 hours. It can run my 5000 btu ac window unit for 2 hours. We tested it out on a friends older toaster oven using 1800w and it did great. This time of year is easy because it isn't hot and we use wood and propane to heat and cook. I was thinking about getting the delta max extra smart battery but they are sold out of them, even the refurbished. After a little thought though, I have decided to buy a second unit because it can be used independently from the first where the batteries cannot. I have had an issue though with mentioning. My power station was at home while I worked. There was nothing being plugged into the unit. For some reason it was flashing over load when I arrived home. It would not take a Chaffee of any kind from the solar panels. For 3 days I went without any power worried that i could damage it worse somehow. I chatted with technical support. Nothing they offered did any good. I decided to discharge the battery all the way down and see if i couldn't get it to rest because they didn't include a hard reset on the delta 2. The screen said I had 1 minute at 1 percent. I ran this thing for 4 hours using everything i could find to plug in. Finally it went down. After a couple of minutes I set up to charge at a friends house using the wall plug. It took the charge at half the normal charging speed. I plugged in his ac and it drew 800 watts and the delta 2 vgargubg watts went up to tge normal 1350 watts. I disconnected the ac and it continued charging at 1300+. I used it and it worked as normal. Only now every time I charge by electrical plug I have to temporarily plug in something to pull enough watts to raise how high the delta 2 charging watts go. Today is the first sunny day I've had that I'll be able to test the solar panels again to see how they do. Otherwise my unit is fine. So use your common sense. The support people aren't helpful immediately but will get you to the right people to talk to. I still recommend the delta 2 for everything it can handle. And by ordering a second unit it will help me cover what the extra battery would have given me the power to do. But I have the ability to use it/charge it seperately. The peace of mind that if something happened to 1 them the other could get me through until the issue was fixed. And I will be able to power twice as much if need be. Happy shopping!
Absolutely love my Ecoflow Delta 2. It has more than enough power for my energy consumption. Only wish I knew about the 1300 instead of the 1000. O'well
A major issue when going on overlanding/ camping trip without a Sprinter van or full on trailer is shower; ladies need their hairdryers! With the Delta 2, you can bring a hairdryer for your significant other, so y'all can can enjoy the trip together! If you go overlanding or camping to get away from your S.O, then you can also bring along a microwave for popcorns, if that's your thing too! Or, if you camp in winter, you can use the Delta 2 to power your diesel heater. 25% of battery is ample for a night's use; alternatively, if you can't sleep well when it's too hot outside, Delta 2 will run your EcoFlow Wave overnight as well.
Purchased about a month ago after extensive research. Delta 2 and Smart Extra Battery arrived but would not communicate with each other. Email to customer service and they immediately sent a new cable. Cable arrived in 5 working days. Hooked up perfectly, charged rapidly..1.5 hours to charge from 30% to 100%. Ran cPap for three nights before needing a recharge. Tested three times with same results. Cpap has a heated reservoir and heated tubing. Based on past experience, disabling these functions will cut energy consumption in half.
I bought the Delta 2 after noting the better battery. A few weeks later I bought the Delta 2 Max Extra Battery & the Dual Fuel Smart Generator. So far so good. All products seem to be working nicely & I have peace of mind for the next time the power goes out. I also plan to use them in a RV.
I have only used this on one camping trip but I am very impressed. The solar kept it topped off and allowed me to keep my fridge running non-stop in 80 degree heat.
So glad I purchased this power station!! Within 2 weeks of receiving it, we had 6 days of power outages in our neighborhood, plus some other random hours of outages throughout the month. During this time, I was able to run my CPAP all throughout the night, plus charge many other items, phone, battery fans, plug in lamps, and other small appliances. Even a couple of neighbors came by to charge their phones. It made a huge difference! So easy to use and a variety of types of outlets. Next I plan to purchase the add-on battery and the solar charger. A great buy!!
