After a lot of research I purchased the Delta 2 as a backup for my farmhouse. We have power outages here every winter and I use a duel fuel generator to run my pump for water. But keeping that noisy generator running constantly is just too annoying. So I got this eco flow for quiet efficient energy when I don’t need the big generator running. I have used it through this winter and it is perfect- extremely easy to use, enough energy for my basic house needs, and chargeable by solar or from my larger generator. And when not in use, it is very simple to store and light enough for me to move easy. Thank you for this excellent introduction to solar alternatives. I look forward to expanding in this direction.
Works as described! Well designed compact unit with all the necessary ins and outs. I would have given it 5 stars except the solar panel to battery connector wasn’t included, though every other kind of connector was! Since I bought it with the portable solar panel, it would have been nice to have that Included, or at least to have been notified that I’d need to purchase that connector.
I'm not a gadget person. When I got the DELTA 2, I found it easy to follow the instructions to charge it and discharge it, running various appliances. Laptops were fully powered in a couple of hours. I plan to use it at home during power outages, so, not very often, but I will make sure to follow the maintenance instructions. I love that the unit recharges so quickly. I thought the DELTA 2's heat and noise when running were mild, very acceptable. The unit feels sturdy and has convenient handles for moving it. I like the EcoFlow phone app. I made a cheat sheet for my own appliances (e.g. freezer, single cooktop, etc.) so I know what I can power with it, and for about how long. I keep the cords, instructions, etc. in a pouch attached to the unit.

Not suitable as a UPS for sensitive electronics

I was hoping to replace an aging APC UPS with this EcoFlow Delta 2. Options like solar charging and the longer lasting LifePo4 batteries were a big step up from the old school UPS I am currently using. Unfortunately the internal transfer relay is not nearly fast enough to switch from mains to inverter while keeping my home networking gear online. While EcoFlow does not list this unit as a UPS, or suitable for UPS duties, it is a little disappointing that the unit cant switch fast enough for my intended use. I'm still glad to have it for the other backup and emergency uses it brings though.

Bought for backup power, but use for everything

I bought this unit after the major storms in California in 2023 as our house lost power for 4 days, and running the generator was neither efficient, nor did the job well. The plan was to use the Delta 2 to power the refrigerator and to charge the computers and flashlights. Specfically we wanted a battery that had fast recharge time so that we could both recharge from solar, and if the sun wasnt shining recharge it off the generator in a timeframe that didnt require us to keep refilling the gas tank and having to listen to the generator all day. The Delta 2 works great! it recharges off solar faster than we are depleting it, and its so convenient that I have been using it instead of grabbing an extension cord to work outside on nice days. the display is intuitive, the app connects flawlessly, and the functionality is perfect. Its a really well thought out product that i would definitely recommend. I did a ton of research into other units from other brands and am happy I settled on EcoFlow.

Prepping or camping, DELTA 2 is the way to go

I have a gas generator but during a power outage last year I found it to be loud and smokey...not to mention you have to go out to get gas for it. I needed something that I could use within the house to power my modem, router, lanterns, mobile phones, Keurig, and a small refrigerator. I did my homework and poured over scores of YouTube reviews, spreadsheets comparing features, and "experts" discussing the topics. I decided on on the DELTA 2 because of its efficiency for delivery watt hours per dollar. I liked it's weight too..even my wife can manage the unit. It is simple to use, quick to recharge, and keeps a charge month after month. I use the Ecoflow 120w solar panel as well. Zero buyer's remorse here.

As a new homeowner I have been concerned with being at the mercy of the local utilities during inclement weather. Within a couple of months of receiving my Delta 2 (Delta Burke) we had rolling blackouts. Delta performed just as she should. I decided on this unit because I have gas cooking and a gas fireplace so those are usually always operational. Delta B powered my coffee maker, router, tv, and Christmas tree quietly and flawlessly during the blackout. I am currently in the middle of an ice storm and knowing Delta is charged and ready should the power go out gives me tremendous peace of mind.

Replacing my backup generator with the DELTA 2

We were looking for a power source which could run our kitchen refrigerator and other items during power outages to replace our outdoor backup generator and finally a product arrived that combined cost, convenience and run-time in one package. We keep it just around the corner from the kitchen so we can simply plug the fridge into the DELTA 2 when a power outage hits. We tested it and were able to get over 8 hours from a single charge which is enough to get us through most blackouts. But the major convenience is not having to go outside, set up the generator, get it running, run extension cords, and keep an eye on the gas tank. Just being able to stay indoors and keep essential items running when it might be pouring rain outside is a big deal. And the price was great - just no comparison to what the competition offers.
