Setup – excessive updates were required during setup; bias, 3 firmware. and at least 20 HP and Microsoft software updates.
Software – much of the included HP software is more an aggravation than a convenience. The HP and Microsoft AI is mostly an aggravation instead of a help. Before I realized how screwed up the software was, the HP software did a system update on its own and made everything pretty much unusable. Fortunately, I had made a restore point after setup and was able to roll it all back. Ended up shutting off most and deleted some of it.
Hardware – USB ports on the stand would have been great if they worked. Plug in a USB C extension or hub and the ports all blow. Sometimes directly plugging in a USB thumb drive works and sometimes it also blows the port. The extension, hub, and thumb drives all work normally in the ports of two other computers. Normal methods of restoring the stand ports doesn’t work. Have to take the stand off and then put it back onto restore the ports. Yes, the stand is properly seated
