The lock requires you press the “Yale” button to lock and unlock which is frustrating vs the one we had before where we could press any button to lock and enter the code to unlock. The lock does not always respond right away either. The app only works if I’m standing next to the lock, but I wanted a smart lock I could remotely control. This lock doesn’t do anything that I wanted. I wish we never tried to replace our old lock.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
