Great Addition for my Excel Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP 430 Programmable Wireless Keypad is a surprisingly handy little add-on if you work with numbers or want quick shortcuts for your daily tasks. It connects easily via Bluetooth (no dongle needed!) and feels solid and comfortable to type on. The nine programmable keys are a great bonus — you can set up custom shortcuts or macros for apps, spreadsheets, or creative work.
Battery life is excellent — just one AA battery lasts up to two years! I also love that HP used recycled materials and plastic-free packaging, which makes it feel more eco-friendly.
The only downside is that setting up the programmable keys takes a bit of patience — you’ll need to use HP’s software, which isn’t super intuitive at first. Once it’s configured though, it works beautifully.
Overall, this keypad is perfect for anyone who spends time crunching numbers, editing, or multitasking. It’s functional, sleek, and built to last — a small but powerful

Simple and easy to set up

Handy tool to help remove and change keys. Quick and easy to set up and connect via Bluetooth. Responds really well. Would highly recommend

Great product extremely handy for data entry

When I first got it I thought it was a bit heavy for a small device but it’s pretty firm when using
Keys have a good feedback whilst not being too noise and have a good feedback
Overall design is user friendly and all keys can be reached by a single hand placement so very ergonomically friendly
Quick and easy to pair and set up my own presets only downside is the character limit on keystrokes

A great addition for on the go working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keyboard is a great addition for ease of use and portability. It was easy to connect to my tablet and is very responsive to keystrokes. It feels comfortable to use and it feels a lot easier to use a physical keyboard rather than an onscreen one. I had some trouble programming the programmable keys but I eventually worked it out and I think it was more user error than an issue with the keyboard itself. I would highly recommend!

I received this HP 430 Programmable Keypad in exchange for my honest review, and it has genuinely upgraded my home office setup. As someone who works across multiple devices, the versatility here is the biggest selling point.
Performance on Dell i5 Laptop:
My Dell laptop is a workhorse, but it lacks a dedicated number pad. This keypad filled that gap perfectly. The mechanical keys have a satisfying tactile feel without being obnoxiously loud. I used the HP Accessory Center software to program a few macros, making my Excel data entry significantly faster.
iPad & iPhone Connectivity:
What surprised me most was how well it plays with the Apple ecosystem. Pairing it with my iPad 9th Gen was instant via Bluetooth. It turns the iPad into a much more capable station for finance sheets. I even connected it to my iPhone 14 Pro just to test it out, and it works flawlessly for quick calculations or inputting numbers into apps.
Verdict:
If you switch between a Windows laptop and Apple mobile devices like I do, this is a must-have. It’s lightweight, battery-efficient, and feels premium. Great reliability and build.
