I got the 4L sling a few weeks ago, I’ve taken it on two trips already and I love it! I haven’t had the issue about the clip opening that other mention. Mine stays on for a full day walking around the city. I totally recommend it.

Strap buckle too easily opens - defective design

On a recent 4 week trip I was using it to carry a camera with a Ape Case ACQB33 – Cubeze Flexible Padded Insert. For me it had better function than the PD insert but maybe a bit less padding. Truly amazing how much that little sling can carry. For all of it's positive attributes I believe the item should be recalled by PD or buyers sent a new shoulder strap. Like many others have noted in reviews if you grab the strap to reposition the sling in just the wrong way the clip way too easily opens and your bag can go flying to the earth below if you don't catch it in time. Happened to me 3 times with a protective lens filter cracking into the lens/cap. In my case tiny splinters and granular glass started to embed into the actual front lens element.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what I was looking for

Bought this about a month ago to replace a lost bag which carries my diabetic supplies on my while I’m on the move. The PD 2L sling is perfect for my needs, small enough to carry easily all day, large enough inside to hold everything I need. Highly recommend if you need an ‘EDC’ bag.

Outstanding design! I own quite a few PD products (photography-related) but the attention to detail carries through in these more generic products, like this sling and in the wallets.
I've often gone through several iterations of items; but the end point is generally here. Bravo!
