Bought it three months ago and I love it a lot! It is small enough as a day bag, but also big enough for weekend or even a week long trip.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’m someone who has been trying to find the next best backpack for what I need and the outdoor pack is just that. I use this pack on business trips, personal trips, and commuting to work. I workout in the morning when I commute into the office and can pack this thing with my laptop, charger + other tech and my workout clothes w/ shoes. It is maxed out at that point but I no longer carry a gym duffel bag!
Overall, it’s very much grown on me and the versatility and quality are fantastic.
The good: - love the ability to configure the pack with straps - the pull cord isn’t annoying, I actually use the exterior pocket a lot to hold onto my jacket, it’s very quick to get things in and out - the exterior zip pockets are great for little things like chapstick, travel towel, AirTag, etc - love the stretchy mesh bottle holders on both sides. I can really stuff this pack when I travel and put things in those pockets for easy access. Also fits every water bottle I have and also a tripod! - love the clam shell design, very easy to pack this thing in the morning - the stretchy pockets on the shoulder straps are lovely. Dedicated place for securing a capture clip is a nice touch!
Could be better: - the hook and loop system is good for things you don’t need to access all the time, but gets annoying when you are constantly doing and undoing them. I use one cord for a chest strap and the other to secure against my carryon handle. Having to hook and unhook when going through the tsa / airport / airplane can be tricky. Especially when the bag is full for the carryon handle. I ended up buying a magnetic buckle(falcam magnetic mini buckle) and making my own straps to make it much easier. Having the loop system does make customization possible which is great. - the magnetic roll top is alright. I wish it were a bit more secure when I really have the bag maxed out (zipper? Idk) - I’m not sure how to secure these extra mini packing bags, they kind of just float around. I use them as tech pouches which is wrong… they are meant for clothing - I wish there was an extra pocket for an ipad. My iPad fots just fine with a 16” MBP. I do have trouble putting my laptop back into the bag if the iPad is already in there. I end up taking the iPad out, putting in the laptop, then putting the iPad back in.

Most comfortable pack I have had. Perfect day pack for photography or a hike. Nice features. Great side pockets for water bottles/tripod. Rugged outside material. Light weight.

Good points Of all the Peak Design camera bags, this is the easiest to carry and doesn't put any strain on the body. It's lightweight and has plenty of room for adjusting the straps, so you can carry heavy camera equipment with confidence.
Points that need improvement Difficulty in accessing the inside. In particular, the top part requires removing two strings and undoing the roll, so it can't be said to be easy to access.

I purchased this bag through the Kickstarter and I’m currently using it to replace my drone backpack and hiking daypack. The functionality is wonderful and durability is built to last.

This could be the perfect weekend camera backpack. it's comfortable to carry/wear, doesn't weigh a lot when empty, rugged and a great size to fit everything in. When I first got this backpack it took me a little while to get used to the opening but now I think is great. my only gripe about this is the cord when closed is a bit untidy, I would have liked either a small magnet or a clip that could hold it in place.

Lots of space and features

I got the 25L bag as part of the kick starter. Since then I’ve used it for both hiking and multi-week work trips. The bag has a surprising amount of space but still packs down tight. I fit my camera cube, clothes for a week+, toiletries, and 2 laptops in. It was tight, but it all fit in an overhead space on planes. I compliment the backpack with the 7L sling, which fits my book and snacks for traveling. Overall, I love it. It is roomy and comfy, key points for me. I do have to say that it feels a bit too complicated at times. I also wish the attachment points for the various straps were a bit easier to clip into. They kinda lay flat and make it tough to quickly clip in.

I have a few of Peak Design bags. Each has a best use. This one is the one that I take when I have a lot of equipment and it is heavy. The belt and the better straps makes it that I can take a really heavy load. Still caries a good deal and has a lot of flexibility. I am aware that some people have criticized the company for tracking you. But if you want your equipment to be warranted for life, then you are going to be tracked.. True for anything you have longterm warranties on. If this is a concern to you then don't register your equipment.
