Fits iPad Pro 11”
on February 15, 2025

I’ve been using it every day for a month and so far I’m very satisfied with it. I wanted a sling that can carry my iPad Pro 11” with keyboard and it fits perfectly with spare room for other edc things.

Not safe for carry

So, I've had the 7l sling for a few weeks. And unfortunately there is a massive oversight on the locking clip. If you grab the sling at the clasp connection point, it opens and falls to the ground. I hadn't grabbed the insert for the bag yet as it was out of stock at the time and my camera hit the concrete and Ice without a protective layer .. camera was fine, I got lucky. But this is not a camera bag. And as much as I love the everyday sort of design. This is a massive fail being so easy to accidentally unhinge the connection. There is no safety mechanism at the hinge area whatsoever. And I have alot of PD products. Since the beginning. Pretty disappointed and will be returning

Disappointed despite loving other PD bags

My iPhone 15 Pro Max falls out of the suggested slot if I turn the bag upside down (even though the video tries to make clear that the slot opening is smaller than the inside). The magnet is very weak, and stays open with a moderate load out. Unfortunately I'll be returning it.

Love the design! Belt can fit either left or right shoulder, magnet pocket for cell phone, both sides zipper and lifetime warranty. Lots of thoughtful design

My new Everyday Bag

Bought the 7L on Kickstarter and love it. Great feel, great weight and with the XS Cube the perfect bag for my mirrorless camera. Yes, the Cube is not the exact size of the bag, but I fill it up with a packable tote so I always have a shopping bag with me. For me, it's my new Everyday Bag and I love it!

Not great for camera but decent otherwise

Was planning to use it with the camera cube. Unfortunately it just didn't work out for me. The cube fits what I want, but once it's in the bag, it just doesn't quite gel. There's a bit of space around the cube, but not enough to be useful. I wish the cube either consumed the whole space, or had more room, with a preference for the latter.
The bag, by itself, is decent. My two biggest complaints about the bag (especially coming from other PD bags):
1) I found it inconvenient to unzip one handed.
2) After being spoilt by how nice PD bags feel in had, I'm beginning to despise the grab handle on this bag. Wish it was a little wider or rounder. This just sort of cuts into the hand.

Small and Pricey, not Small and Mighty

Doesn’t feel like a PD product at all, has a cash grab effect. I would not put any hardware in this like how some of the pictures detail. The material has no structure, which is fine - but putting any form of technology in it is a huge risk and is not what this is for. It’s easy to dump stuff in this and call it a day, but competitors have ultra-portable slings that have more thought / build quality into the organization. I’m unsure of where I could justify the premium price on this for a premium product… the strap? Probably not, it’s quite finicky and kind of over-engineered for a small sling. Materials? Definitely not. The visible stitching both inside and out is unflattering. I just feel that this is a rebranded packing cube with a nicer strap. The magnet on the back is weak as well, especially when the sling is packed out moderately - it’s unusable IMO without high risk.
I just feel like Peak Designs’ wabi-sabi approach at this point feels more like an echo chamber within their team versus including customer feedback that’s been out online for years at this point i.e.: hidden AirTag compartment, microfiber linings, etc with a balance between unstructured and structured. Will likely hold off on investing more into PD once the everyday line is revamped. This product is not it for me, and I am surprised at just how much I disliked this.

Perfect fit for Steam Deck

It’s the perfect everyday carry. It fits my everyday items (phone, keys, leatherman, charging brick, etc) plus my Steam Deck (in a Tomtoc case), charger, & Bose noise canceling headphones.
Absolutely love this bag!
