Got this to enhance my collection of day/lumbar packs. I wanted something lighter, smaller and definitely more fashionable/less bulky than my other packs (Mountainsmith, 5.11), without sacrificing versatility and capabilities; something within the 6-8L range that I could take with me while running errands or sightseeing in the city, where I could carry a few phone accessories (cables, charger, battery, mini-tripod) as well as a lightweight jacket and a packable tote (useful when shopping). I’ve been using it every week since I got it. The only time I move back to a larger lumbar pack is when I’m going out with the kids to the playground or to drive our bikes, as I can carry their stuff with me (water, food, extra clothing). I got my Outdoor Sling via the Kickstarter campaign. Peak Design has become one of those few companies I trust blindly - when they announce something I need, you can bet I’ll get it from them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wanted a bag that I could use for general EDC as well as one I can pack away for travel. This sling is perfect for that. It packs down flat and has plenty of organization where you need it. I also find it very comfortable to wear. I’m a hobbyist photographer, so my setup is light. I plan on getting the XS Camera Cube to pair with this.

A great day-pack size for small things and simple camera setup (DJI Pocket 3+mics+Insta360 X4) still room left for other things like power bank etc. It's not too big and not too small, super lightweight for daily carry.
