For all DIY home project needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a rotary tool and heat gun to do our DIY home projects and came across this multi-tool combo kit which comes with heat gun and rotary tool attachments. The rotary tool accepts standard bits from all well known brands and has a brushless motor for longer use with strong power capabilities. The heat gun is battery powered and blows hot air at 500 degrees Fahrenheit continuously. The heat gun has precision nozzle which can control the location and heat direction. It comes with a flexible cord, storage bag, 20v powder battery a storage case and a hub. A great kit for all home FIY home project needs.

I had been avoiding this purchase until I had a need. When I finally ordered I was amazed at what I could do with the rotary tool. Great tool, very useful, well thought out like every other worx tool I have purchased.

Major flaw in design and lacks power

I knew this wasn't going to be as powerful as a corded rotary tool but it would hopefully be more convenient at times. Unfortunately the design of this thing is flawed due to one simple missing feature: an on/off button on the tool itself! The angle grinder has this, and it's extremely convenient but they completely missed the thought here. Additionally if it is overloaded with effort/force it shuts down and you have to turn the battery pack on and off. Otherwise this tool isn't bad, but keep in mind it's really oriented to 'crafters' not DIY'ers who want something to work on metal or even wood. I ended up having to buy a corded tool instead for most uses.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
