[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the 3pc Combo kit, but I own the entire Makerx set, having purchased the other tools separately. I use this kit all the time for various projects, at home, at camp, and at work. The rotary tool works wonderfully, much quieter than my old Dremel, and with the detached battery, much easier to hold and control. The included bits and accessories are all of good quality and very useful. I've also used the Wood & Metal Crafter (soldering iron) to solder electronic connections and it works well. It heats up fast, and I love the ability to set the digitally displayed temperature desired. I've not had a chance to use the airbrush yet, but certainly have some projects planned for it.
I highly, highly recommend the entire Makerx line of tools. They are very good value for money, in my opinion.

Great starter tool for older kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this combo kit for my daughter to get familiar with crafting and she loves it! The build quality is good, the tools are light and well designed. I wish the battery has indicated so I know how much juice left but it last pretty long anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great starter kit. I got to use all of them right away. It was a pretty simple setup. great packaging and well-built products. The airbrush was tricky to start when trying to figure out what paint and how thin it has to be to use it. once i got that down it was a breeze just make sure to clean it. The wood burner and rotary tool come in really handy for small detailed jobs they both are solid tools that everyone should have on hand. I would highly recommend this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Worx Maker X set is great. I did purchase a couple diamond tips because I do some stone engraving and it works awesome. The battery seems to be powerful and lasts long enough. The hub has the power button and a min/max power adjuster. It is much easier having everything cordless and portable. This set comes with an air brush, wood & metal crafter, rotary tool, battery, charger, hub, many accessories and a tool bag. The wood & metal crafter and rotary tool both have interchangeable tips and every tool uses the same battery and hub. I use the rotary tool for more than just crafts. It also works very well grinding out tile joints. I used it in my shower to grind a couple out to replace. The tool bag is large enough to hold everything and more. There are pockets on the inside so it stays nice and organized. It seems to be durable and made well, the handles are easy to hold onto and grip. It works just as it should and I will definitely keep using this set.

I am not the best DIY guy out there and at first I wasn't sure what I was going to do with a rotary tool, wood crafter, and air brush. But my 11 year old loves this stuff and as soon as it arrives he had projects for us to try. First we had to create a hole in his desk to fit a charging dock into. Using these tools and a couple others that we had we were able to complete this project very easily and I have to admit it looks great. He has a whole list of other things we are going to do and I am actually getting excited about it. I get to spend quality time with my son and am learning some DIY things. Fully recommended
