Dropped phone twice

It’s now dropped my phone twice in a month. The first time I chalked it up to operator error and made sure to give it a tug every time after that. The second time I know it was on before I took off. Now I’ve got a nice gouge in my iPhone screen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my opinion, the motorcycle bar mount, paired with the Gnar case, is the best combination for securing your phone on your motorcycle. I have 4 motorcycles, and each one is fitted with a Peak Design Motorcycle Bar Mount.
The fit and finish is better than any other brand out there, and they are slim enough to not detract from the aesthetics of your motorcycle. The vibration damping is superb, and I even had an Apple employee tell me that PD is the mount they recommend based on their experience with other mounts causing internal damage to iPhones due to vibration. Attaching and removing your phone can be done easily with one hand, while still being extremely secure.

I bought this for a week long adv trip and have other popular brands of moto mounts. I prefer this over the others. build quality is the best and I like the locking mechanism

I was all set to get a Quad Lock system to mount the phone I used for navigation on my recent dual sport trip to Southern Utah but saw a You Tube video comparison of the Quad Lock and Peak Design handlebar mount and changed my mind. The Peak Design mount is very high quality aluminum and mounted solid on my GasGas. It is super easy to use and the vibration dampener is built-in and not bulky or extra $ like the Quad Lock Mount. The entire system with the phone case is less expensive than the metal Quad Lock mount with dampener and phone case. The system was rock solid on my four days of riding including about 200 miles of off-road. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because they didn't have any Samsung S22 cases in stock and didn't know when they would get any so I had to use the universal mount which was cheaper and worked fine but would prefer the built in locking system of the Peak Design phone case.

I bought this and the “Everyday Case” for a recent 12-day motorcycle trip riding a Harley Road King. Solid piece of equipment with a sleek and uncomplicated design. Phone stayed safe in terms of staying attached while riding and also not damaging the IPhone’s camera due to the built-in anti-vibration device. Would recommend for sure.
