Best Case for your iPhone 16 Pro Max

This case can not be beat, you get the best protection while still in a slim profile. Magsafe works perfectly through the case and even feels enhance if I'm being honest. The texture of the fabric has been enhanced from last year's model, I really like both the visual of it and the physical texture. My one gripe is the finger loop doesn't fit as flush as it did for the last few years and sticks out a little bit awkwardly. I'm glad the action button was figured out this year and no longer wobbles around in the case. We even have the inclusion of the Camera Control button cutout, it was able to be included at release thankfully! Will continue to but from Peak Design for my cases, I really hope the loop goes back to fitting flush though.

Think twice before buying the case

I bought this case about 6 weeks ago and the loop has already failed. There is a small metal disk in the loop that is magnetic and makes the loop lie flat. The inner seam on the loop split and the small metal disk has fallen out. Seems like a pretty major fault for and expensive case that they peak design hypes so much. It was a good idea but the manufacturing sucks.

Flolab protector fit base iPhone 16 w/ this case!

Just got my screen protector and wasn’t sure if it would be too close to the edge for this case to work. Very happy to find that it was no problem at all!

Truck ran over it

I have had this case for about a month and I ran over my phone with a truck by accident. The encase is perfectly fine, a little dusty. My phone is pretty much done for because it was screen down and that sucks but I am writing this review on the phone that was crushed so BRAVO!

Great but avoid if you want a useable finger strap

The case is well built, the buttons press nicely, feels secure, MagSafe works well. My issues are with the finger strap. I have found it impossible to use the finger strap with one hand. Their videos mention a built in hidden depression to allow for easy use of the strap, it’s non existent. To me, it’s pointless to have a finger strap if I need two hands to use it every time. Also, being lower on the case is not ideal. It does lay back flat and snug which is nice but again, it’s just impossible to use with practical and typical behavior.

First PD Case

After using it for a few days, I’m really impressed with this case. My main goal was to use it on my bike with the front mount, but it turns out to be a great case for everyday use too. I’ve been using Apple leather cases for the past 10 years, so I’m used to that feel. I didn’t get the iPhone 15 last year, so I can’t compare it to the fine woven cases.
The fit is snug and feels right from the start. As soon as I turned on the phone, it went into the case, and it feels secure. All the buttons have the same tactile feel as the Apple case, which I appreciate.
The camera cutout seems fine. I think any issues you may have with it are just getting used to the different presses with the button. I’m not a big picture taker, but it feels responsive enough to use. I can’t really say how it would compare to something like the Apple case, where they have that capacitive button. I don’t think they’ll have to release a V2 like they did with the Action button (based on videos I saw of the V1).
Overall, I’m very happy with the case and would definitely consider it a go-to case moving forward. Like I mentioned, my interest in this case really only came from the ability to mount it on my bike. When comparing this to other case makers that do similar things, this was a much nicer-looking option as well as easy to use. Mounting this on my bike is great, and it feels really secure. It’s nice to have this as another display, navigation, music source, and somewhere for it to go other than my pocket.
