Great car mount/charger

Bought this last month and love it. Charges flawlessly and haven't had any issues with my phone ever moving or falling off. Only negative I have is there is a small section lifting but it still works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The BEST car mount/ Charger!

I have been using this mount for maybe four months, I don’t know how I lived/ drove without it! It’s stable, sleek, and efficient. Add the tiny cord mounts(provided) and it’s perfect. Thank you Peak Design for yet another clever product!

We have previously had car mount that attach to the dashboard using adhesive, but all have come unstuck during the hot Australian summer. So far, the Peak Design car mount has stuck really well. It comes with comprehensive and easy-to-follow instructions for installation, including a very obvious warning to let the adhesive set for 24 hours before use. Of course, this is a crucial step, but probably some that many people don't follow, so having the instructions right up front is fantastic.
Peak Design have also thought of adhesive cable management clips, to help keep the installation looking as tidy as possible. These work well, too.
So far, no problems! We've hit a few potholes (thanks to the various trucks around here for creating potholes for car mount testing purposes), and the phone has stayed on the mount. There is relatively little give in how far the mount can swivel, but it moves enough for what I need. Keep that in mind when installing, because some other mounts may swivel further.
I have the charging version, and I was hoping to use Bluetooth to connect to the car stereo, so I wouldn't have to plug the phone in each time. But, Bluetooth is still a bit flakey (that's down to the car stereo, not the mount), so I still plug it in anyway. Try your Bluetooth before buying - you might find that you'll also end up plugging it in anyway, in which case there's a cheaper non-charging version of the car mount adaptor. Save a few bucks.
Really happy with it so far. If it does come unstuck on a particularly hot day, I'll leave another review, but so far, I'm really happy with it and will look to get one for our other car.
