So bad it feels like a knock-off

I have to start this by saying that I *love* Peak Design. I have multiple bags, anchors on every camera (and my wallet and my keys,) tethers in my purses, capture clips on strap I may want to carry a camera on, the phone cases (both regular and Gnar) and not only the current tripod but also plans to get the new model.
That's why it hurts to say... this wallet stinks. It doesn't feel like the construction I expect from PD. It looks like it's been glued together from scrap fabric. Like something you'd expect to see on a YouTube tutorial explaining how to fashion a phone tripod using just a hinge and some glue.
The big fault though is the magnets. These are *weak* magnets. I have flung the wallet off my phone and onto the ground maybe ten times in the *two* days I've been using it. I would feel at fault if I was using some 3rd party case with it, but it's *the* PD Everyday phone case. It's just not safe to use this wallet with cards you care about. It really snaps right off with very little force. Even just grazing the wallet with a finger causes it to start twisting off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sturdy wallet

I bought the mobile wallet stand initially, but exchanged it for slim wallet instead due to the weight. The stand was quite heavy and the slim wallet is lighter, but still have some weight on it. The mag safe is very sturdy compared to all other alternative mag safe wallet I’ve used in the past. Will buy this again.

Overall great - just one tiny thing to fix!

So far thrilled with this, except for ONE tiny detail that could be addressed... make it just a little easier to open the kickstand! As it is, with the two parts so precisely fitted together and with the strong magnet, it takes two hands just to open the kickstand, and almost invariably you end up hitting something on the screen with a finger or the palm of your hand, or sometimes you end up turning the item, or even dislodging it altogether. You have to kinda get your fingernail into it and hold one piece against the phone case while you pry up the other side... So it just needs to be a little easier! But other than that, I love it.

Sturdiest attachable stand for phone

I'm very happy with the wallet, I was surprised with how solid the hinge is, it keeps the phone in place perfectly in any angle. The wallet can't really take many cards and can make the phone feel bulky when attached but I just put the phone and wallet in separate pockets when I'm out and join them together when I need the stand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have used this wallet for several months. It falls off constantly. As in several times a day. I think it's the fabric on fabric design. I need a place for an airpod because I am going to lose my cards. The flap is usless. In just a few months it has lost it's form and is now constantly in front of the camera. I am currently looking for a new wallet that will work as advertised. I like the kickstand but rarely use it.

Just received this and not too impressed. It seems kind of flimsy. Inserting the cards results in the cover kind of folding on itself. The magnetic cover seems to easily flip inside the holder and is a pain to remove. A little more engineering on this and it might be good. There are other options available in the market for less money. This item will probably be going back.

Absolutely love this wallet—I have the slim version. I use it both with and without my phone, and it's soooo convenient. The opening mechanism is a joy to use! I originally got it on Kickstarter, and it still hasn’t torn or worn out. Thanks, Peak Design, for the amazing quality and design!

Disappointing quality at this price point

Disappointing quality at this price point. The material on the interior of the wallet (between the stand and magnetic backer) is creased and refuses to lay flat. I expect better craftsmanship if I am going to pay up for a 'premium' product.
