I've tried a number of different bike mounts for my phone, this one is both the best quality and the slimmest phone case pairs with it. It's all metal, so not light, but considerably less bulky and faulty than the Quadlock I had most recently. It is a little hard to tell when it's connected, but it has connected faultlessly so far, sits flush and in a great visible location just in front of my bike computer.
The Quadlock cases delaminated more than once, gapping at the sides, and they were bulky to carry. The elastics holding the flat bar mount have left indents in my carbon fibre frame too. The Peak Design comes with cuffs to accommodate many handlebar sizes, and can use a thumbscrew so you can tilt it vertical for filming if you wish.
