Amazing Car Mount!

I bought this car vent mount about a month ago and couldn't be happier. It fits perfectly in my 2021 Lexus IS 350. The car dashboard is a bit cramped and it was hard to find a perfect car mount for the car. This car vent mount is very customizable with the swivel arm control. I paired it with the Peak Design iPhone case and magnets feel strong and secure in the car vent mount. I highly recommend this product.

Best concept on the market

This design is great. I absolutely love it. There are only two improvements I wish could happen. I wish the sliding top vent hook were metal instead of plastic (mine snapped in the first day). Secondly, I wish the length of the mount section were shorter (it does not fit for my shorter vents). So do your due diligence and actually measure your vent dimensions using what Peak Design provides in the listing. It’s worth the extra time.

One of the best ideas in the Mobile range

Along the years, I have tried many different ways to hold my phone into car dashboards. I have never been happy with any one of them. For the first time ever, I have found an accessory that does exactly what is needed to have your phone exactly where you need it to be and, even more important, it keeps it there.
Before getting it though, make sure that your vents are from one of the compatible types.

This is the better solution for limited space

I used to have the older stick on mount, but when I changed vehicles I didn’t have a good spot to adhere the mount. Every spot was either too far away, or not enough flat space. I hate window mounts too. Then this came into the picture. My console and dashboard are phone clutter free. I do have to adjust the phone every time I mount it, but this is not a problem with the mount, but rather the fact that I’m placing a weighted object onto a movable surface (vent blades). I knew what I was doing, so minor adjustments when I place the phone on the mount doesn’t bother me in the least bit.

Great mount and wireless charger. I was surprised it worked so well on my Subaru Forester’s vertical vents!

Bought this for my wife’s car and the mount itself is fine the actual charger in a word, sucks. It is so slow. I left my house at noon, drove a little over 1 hour with Apple Maps running. My battery went up from 54% to 56%. I have a QI2 charger from another company in my truck that would easily top it off to 80% in less than an hour. Disappointed to say the least.

Mount is great; charger beware

I’m very happy with how the mount connects to the vent and holds my phone. I am not happy that I purchased the charging version and it doesn’t charge my phone even though I have a Peak Design phone case. It seems to require a cigarette lighter power source and I have USB sockets, but no lighter socket in my vehicle. I re-read everything before purchasing but I did not expect that the cable it comes with would not work without another accessory. I have to plug the charging cable directly in my phone to charge and I paid extra for this mount for no reason.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
