Love the case, for the most part.

I love the feel of the case. My only concern is that the case is very close to being flush with the screen. Most cases are raised a little higher to protect the screen more. It wasn’t a deal breaker though and I decided to keep the case. Also, bottom part of case makes overall length of the phone a little bit longer in length. Again not deal breaker but wasn’t expecting this when I first purchased.
I’ve had the everyday case for most every iPhone since the case came out. Needless to say, I love it. I loved that they replaced the case last year to address the action button issue.
And that’s where the but comes in. I’m really hoping they address the cutout for the camera control. The cutout is challenging to have with that button. Maybe it’s just my fingers, but I can’t easily use the button.
I liked the case for my iPhone 15 Pro Max so much that I bought one for my 16 Pro Max. they wear like iron and I love that I can put the phone on my bike and not feel it is as risk
No other case can give me the security and comfort of the Peak Everyday. In my daily life I slap a wallet from Peak on the back. For about 2 hours a day I commute using my speedy Cannondale gravelbike on all kinds of surfaces. When arriving to work I have been able to check my email etc making me prepared for managing my school as a principal.
Nice to hold, looks nice and is usable in all situations from biking to set on the fridge while making dinner.
I got this case while waiting for my iPhone 16 Pro Max to arrive. I’m so glad I did! I got tired of Apple’s cases getting worse every year and had heard good things about these ones from a podcast (ATP).
Why is it good? The texture feels great. The buttons are responsive - not too stiff and exactly the right shape. The slot for the new camera button doesn’t inhibit usage. The magnets and MagSafe support are pretty strong, so my bedside charger (not Peak Design brand) works great with it. Unsurprisingly, my Peak Design wallet and car mount also work great.
I would definitely recommend this case and Peak Design’s other accessories.
After using it for a few days, I’m really impressed with this case. My main goal was to use it on my bike with the front mount, but it turns out to be a great case for everyday use too. I’ve been using Apple leather cases for the past 10 years, so I’m used to that feel. I didn’t get the iPhone 15 last year, so I can’t compare it to the fine woven cases.
The fit is snug and feels right from the start. As soon as I turned on the phone, it went into the case, and it feels secure. All the buttons have the same tactile feel as the Apple case, which I appreciate.
The camera cutout seems fine. I think any issues you may have with it are just getting used to the different presses with the button. I’m not a big picture taker, but it feels responsive enough to use. I can’t really say how it would compare to something like the Apple case, where they have that capacitive button. I don’t think they’ll have to release a V2 like they did with the Action button (based on videos I saw of the V1).
Overall, I’m very happy with the case and would definitely consider it a go-to case moving forward. Like I mentioned, my interest in this case really only came from the ability to mount it on my bike. When comparing this to other case makers that do similar things, this was a much nicer-looking option as well as easy to use. Mounting this on my bike is great, and it feels really secure. It’s nice to have this as another display, navigation, music source, and somewhere for it to go other than my pocket.
