This case can not be beat, you get the best protection while still in a slim profile. Magsafe works perfectly through the case and even feels enhance if I'm being honest. The texture of the fabric has been enhanced from last year's model, I really like both the visual of it and the physical texture. My one gripe is the finger loop doesn't fit as flush as it did for the last few years and sticks out a little bit awkwardly. I'm glad the action button was figured out this year and no longer wobbles around in the case. We even have the inclusion of the Camera Control button cutout, it was able to be included at release thankfully! Will continue to but from Peak Design for my cases, I really hope the loop goes back to fitting flush though.
This is my second peak design iPhone case, I upgraded my phone so I bought this one. Over the years, I have bought a lot of cases and attachment grips, hoping for something that works for me. This is the best one, also MagSafe is very strong. My only negative is I feel like the case and especially accessories that go with it are pretty pricey.
Not very happy because of sharp edges, I will use it only on my bike ride. Everyday use is not comfortable enough. Sharp edges on photo button is not peak design style. Need to be improved with button like Apple Original case.
I had the Everyday Case for my iPhone 13 mini and bought one for my iPhone 16. In general, it’s a great case. The fabric feels good in the hand, provides a good hold, and looks great. It offers protection without being very bulky and works well with MagSafe. So why deduct a star? Camera Control. The cutout for Camera Control doesn’t work well: I have to place my finger just so to get it to trigger but most of the time it takes multiple tries: it gets in the way of using the control. I tried an OtterBox case which used a bottom similar to that on Apple’s cases: it’s a much better solution. I almost returned the case but am keeping it a bit longer to see if I’ll get used to it, because I really like everything else about the case. Still not sure if I’ll keep it, I may switch to a less attractive Apple case that works better for camera control.
Just got the new iPhone 16 Pro Max and having been a Peak Design fan for years, I immediately ordered the newest case for my phone. The make is solid with lots of attention to detail like the camera capture slot and the coloured buttons unlike the Black version where the buttons are simply black. The only gripe I have if I really had to pick a bone, I would say I was expecting something WOW with regards to the design because, hey, this is Peak Design. All in all, an excellent case!
One week since launch, having the phone in PD case since unboxing, I can say – it's the old trusty case I am used to from 11 Pro Max. Fits great, feels great, looks great, and then there is the car charger, bike holder, tripod adapter a.k.a. creator kit, wrist strap, etc. However: Apple came up with the camera control button, and boy that's a tough nut to crack for a case maker. And after those 7 days, I am not completely convinced Peak Design cracked it. The case opening for the camera control is kind of sharp (more on the front but on the back side, too), it is less of a problem when you are shooting but more so when you are just holding the phone in hand. It is not a pleasant feel. I mean, I will live with it, I just like the rest of it too much, but I am hoping Peak Design did not say it's last word about designing this particular element.
Two more wishes: larger opening for the USB-C connector, and navy colour. I know it does not match the phone but who cares in this type of case.
This is my second Everyday Case for my iPhone. The case is slim, light, strong and durable. The material feels premium and the sides have a little grip to it. I've dropped my phone a couple times and brought it out on many excursions and the case protects the iPhone quite well. I have paired the Everyday Case with the fabric Mobile Wallet with kickstand. It has replaced my wallet as I can carry multiple cards and a few bills. I've purchased so many different brands in the past but now that I have discovered Peak Design, its my go-to for all things mobile going forward. PS My kids love Gus the Bus!
I just received the case for my iPhone 16 Pro and it has a major design flaw. Too much material has been cut out of the bevel where the new camera action button is, leaving the top strip weak and very flexible. Not only that, but it is also constantly engaging the button due to the flexibility of the top strip when in my pocket. A huge step behind in an ecosystem I bought into years ago and have leveraged for everything from my Canon cameras to my motorcycle.
