I got the slim version of this wallet which is very compact, useful, and stylish as a stand-alone wallet/cardholder. Though it turned out not as much as useful as I hoped when attached to my phone.
The issue is that a phone plus a wallet can get quite thick. This is not unexpected, but because it only uses the magnets and not the SlimLink, it can move and get detached in your tight pocket, especially when you're putting them into or taking them out from your pocket.
I used the original magnetic waller from Apple before. But like with all their "leathery" products they are expensive and look horrible after a few months. When I heard that PEAK DESIGN brings out such a wallet I hopped on immediately. It's superb quality. It fits more cards and e.g. money etc. than the one from Apple and it has a flap to ensure the cards cannot slip out. Super product!
My only gripe is that the lift flap frequently gets stuck behind the cars and it's annoying to get back out. I'd also like a better pocket accessible when you rotate the hinge all the way around. I'd use this to tuck a couple cash bills for emergencies. Currently if you stick cash in there it's very hard to get out.
I really do love this wallet—its magnetic grip is strong, it holds 5 cards + some folded cash, attaches in both landscape and portrait, and has a strong hinge that supports whatever angle I throw at it. Am I gushing yet? Lol. Seriously, it’s perfect. The only thing I can think of is for Peak to release it in a few more colors in addition to the gray.
