I had desired a small powered screwdriver for some time and when WORX came out with this I bought it right away expecting it to be the best on the market as all my other WORX tools have been. Nope. This is a very lightweight tool for very light duty applications. It is very comfortable in the hand. lightweight, balanced, controls are conveniently positioned, and the light is fabulous. Sadly, the trigger switch is not progressive (variable speed) it is either on or off. This is not the best for starting screws or just turning them a bit. Immediately after a full charge, it did not have enough power to drive a small wood screw into a piece of particle board without drilling a pilot hole almost the size of the screw. I was trying to mount the WORX universal hangar bracket using the supplied screws. WORX fans probably know this is not a very large screw. Very disappointing. The driver comes with a very nice set of bits in a cute little case but nowhere to attach them to the driver, so very easy to misplace them, drop them , etc. I returned the unit as I do not have any applications it would be satisfactory for.

Sorry for the confusion. This unit not being a drill is the reason why it is unable to drill through wood without making a pilot hole prior. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I purchased this tool for my husband. It will be a great asset to our boat. There are many times that you need to reach a screw that is deep set and hard to reach. With the extension developed in this screw driver it will make the problem simple to solve. Thanks for your creative thinking

Just purchased the Worx XTD 4V driver a week or two ago, haven't used it yet but am anxious to! Fits comfortable in your hand, not too light or too heavy. Only gave it 4 stars because I haven't put it to the test yet, hope to find out soon!

My 90 y/o neighbor was replacing her home windows, and all window coverings had to be removed. After the window installation, she bought new curtains/drapes.. which I installed. The XTD worked BETTER than advertised on the commercial.
I am 100% impressed .
