Very happy with purchase. Just what we needed for extra storage. Quiet freezer, love the green light that glows to let you know the freezer is on. After delivery, reached freezing point very quickly and maintains constant temperature. Door seals very well, very easy to open and close.

We replaced a freezer bought in 2005 which was still working well but we got concerned because of it's age so replaced it before we had to. This freezer has the garage feature and for that reason we purchased it. So far we are very pleased with it's features and operation.

Makes my life so much easier!

I love my new freezer. It was easy to set up and is so useful. Having an upright freezer in my kitchen instead of downstairs makes it a lot easier to remember to take something out to thaw for supper and also what I have in there as compared to a chest freezer where I can't reach the bottom or see what's at the bottom. Its working great and I love it!

Easy Install, Sufficient Storage Area, Works Good

I have had the unit for 3 weeks now and so far so good. No problems encountered with Costco's delivery service nor the installation of the unit. We let it sit for 2 days before plugging it in then another 2 days to let it run empty. Easier to trouble shoot if there is nothing inside yet. So far so good! Unit seem to be working fine after the 2 days so we loaded it up with food. No problem encountered either with opening and closing of the door (as some reviews have mentioned). Simple knob (not digital) for temp control. Great to have a green light at the front bottom of the unit to indicate that the unit is on/working to eliminate guesswork. This was bought primarily for the frost-free feature as well as the brand. Had wanted an upright model; previous freezer was chest type. I found that food gets buried in the chest type (out of sight out of mind) although temp is retained better on opening vs. upright type. However, this is not too bad if I plan what to take out and put in when the door is opened. I had to group same type of food per shelf to avoid searching and having the door open for long (ex. all seafood together, all chicken, all beef, all prepared foods, etc.). I just hope this unit lasts up to 10 years as with the older freezer models.
