BUYER BEWARE, 16 month lifespan and its bricked
on June 10, 2025

This monitor was complete garbage from the beginning with no consistency with connecting to a computer and the fact there is not a simple source button on then monitor or the remote that it comes with. This monitor after only 16 months the screen just stopped working with blotched colours everywhere now deeming it unusable, that’s a pretty short lifespan for the price, and Samsung was no help whatsoever. Never again will I purchase their products. You’ve been warned BUYER BEWARE.

Samsung 4k monitor.

Very nice display. So far the only thing I'm disappointed in , is the inability to add apps to the monitor.
Also, even though I have a very fast internet connection, the speed tops out at about 80mb per second.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awful software, major DisplayPort issues
on January 9, 2026

So I first bought this monitor at $599 and it looked like an excellent deal. When trying to connect it to my computer, the DisplayPort was incredibly finicky. The display constantly flickered when trying to connect, though HDMI worked fine. The software was incredibly bloated and required setup at a level that I have never seen with a monitor. I've spent decades using Asus, LG, and Gigabyte monitors and have never had a bad experience, let alone something as disappointing as this. I updated firmware, installed Samsung drivers on my device, and was only able to get it to post a picture without flickering/static on a second model after I exchanged the first. I had to tweak settings that should not have had any impact (Samsung's 21:9 ratio is apparently 4k, despite that not being accurate) to get a picture to display but turning off the monitor and trying to use it again broke this solution. I would not recommend this monitor to anyone unless they are content with the DisplayPort not working. These issues seem to be well documented online.
