I wanted very much to love the Lexie B1 hearing aids because I was hoping that they would have Bose quality for ambient noise reduction. Unfortunately the hearing aids I received had a constant slight hiss in the background. And the controls (bass and treble) were just too basic to tweak the aids to match my high frequency hearing loss.

I am surprised/dismayed at the frequency at which I need to change the batteries. Over time, that's going to be a very expensive proposition. Additionally, with Bose technology, I expected better sound quality. While the hearing aids make most sounds louder, there is no improvements whatsoever in clarity. Conversations with people who have soft voices, or who mumble a bit, are not improved even marginally. I don't think my money was well spent on these hearing aids.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
