So far it is an impressively awesome unit!

Brought this 8000btu unit and the 3 year protection for $50 from Best Buy to replace a 5000btu unit and all I can say is that the difference is night and day! The 5000btu unit struggled and failed miserably on days that were 23°C and above. This 8000btu tcl unit is heaven sent! While our old one failed even with the help of 3 large noisy fans to help circulate the air throughout our single level, 750sqft, two bedroom, 1 bath, townhouse, the tcl without any back up from a fan keeps the whole place as comfortably cool as we need it to be and while our old a/c had to run all parameters on high, this tcl unit has no trouble handling our whole home cooling needs with its wifi mobile app adjustable digital display for temperature and fan 3 fan speeds, and for those of us who are intimidated by wifi, it also comes with a remote control to tame this beast! If you are looking to by a deadly good window air conditioner the run, don't walk, to Best Buy and get it now while it's on sale!

This unit offers both air conditioning and dehumidifying. I replaced my portable air conditioning unit with this window unit and the difference is amazing. While the AC that was a portable unit did not even cool off an entire room, this unit in my living room, window cools off my entire apartment. Highly recommended and works with Alexa, which makes it very convenient.

TCL window Air conditioner

Easy fast install came with everything needed and more. Even insulating stick on foam insulation for the window curtains. I didn't use them on my install but used them to fill other spaces where there were gaps to completely seal everything off. It's super quiet. Efficient at 11.4 CEER and the app even shows its power consumption for day/week/ month and year. Great features and place was brought from 41c to 20 within 37 minutes. At 478 Square feet. Runs quiet on high can easily hear TV on low barely know it's on. Looks great not as pictured even better. Keeping all cool and it's currently 38c with humidity out. Also has removed a huge amount of humidity and dosent dripbas the fan is used as an evaporative cooling system to splash the condensation on the fins outside to help cool them and makes A/C that more efficient and effective. Looks great too.

TCL 8000 BTU ac works well. Cooled down our 350 sf living and dining area, fan on low when 33 c outside. At 53 decibel on low the noise level is acceptable. We are happy with the purchase. Bryan

Amazing unit!

I normally don't write reviews, but I want to share my experience with this window air conditioner. It quickly cools down our medium-sized room and operates more quietly than any other unit we've had. The only small issue is that it always shows the temperature setting rather than the actual room temperature. For instance, if you set it to 18°C, it will display 18°C all the time, rather than showing the temperature decreasing from a higher to a lower level, such as from actual T 26 to 18. I bought it on sale, so it was a good price as well. I just got it two days ago, so I'll see how it goes, but for now, I would recommend it. Thanks!
