Small but Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to Influenster and TCL Technology Group for gifting me the TCL 5,000 BTU Mini Mechanical Window Air Conditioner in exchange for my honest review. This air conditioner might look small but it is powerful. It cooled our bedroom quickly. Installation took less than 10 minutes and required a simple hand tool. This air conditioner has some weight to it and the manufacturer recommends that two people place it in the window. It made it much easier. My window closes all the way down to the top of the air conditioner, and it stays in place with the brackets. The side panels were easy to stretch and easy to install. They fit my window perfectly. This air conditioner can be used as a cooling unit or just a fan. It has a mechanical dial with cool settings 1-7. It also has a mechanical dial with a 2-speed fan and 2 cooling settings for the air conditioner. The two four-way vents located in the front can be adjusted to your liking. It is also energy efficient and designed with a washable filter. Overall, we are very pleased with this unit and highly recommend it.

Good choice, works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a smaller window mount style ac unit for my camper. One that wouldn't draw too much power on my generator, but would cool the whole thing. The size of this unit was not only perfect, it also cools exactly how i needed. I can maintain just the right temperature, and not have to keep adjusting it. It's relatively quiet, and has a modern color and design that fits with the renovations i am doing in the camper. This was a good choice for me, and I'm glad to have this.

Nice Window Unit

It really does keep your room cool and comfortable.and only takes a few minutes to cool the whole room. I love that it has a removable filter that you can rinse clean and has multiple fan settings. It also has 4-way directional vents so you can customize your comfortable level. Installation was super easy and it comes with all hardware needed. It might have taken 30 minutes to install it in the window at the most. TCL is a good brand and they definitely didn't disappoint with this AC unit.

The cooling ability is great and quick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit is light and easy to handle and install, a medium framed person could handle the job. The air that comes out is cold and will cool a 9’x12’ room efficiently. Appears to be durable with no remote, access is only at the front of the unit. The noise level is a bit louder than most units with some squeal when the compressor comes on. Unit is not bulky, does not extend over the window ledge inside the room.

Great compact unit

It’s pretty quiet, but really pumps out the air. It is really well made and looks nice. Too soon to tell how much his electric bill will go up, but he’s loving it so far. Highly recommended!

COOL AND EFFICIENT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TCL 5,000 BTU Mini Mechanical Window Air Conditioner - W5WM - 3 was easy to build, install, and operate. It cools very quickly and consistently. It works silently, not causing any noise disturbance. Only costing $44/year to run, this AC, too, is highly energy efficient. I will have this installed from now until it eventually ceases to work!

Compact, powerful, and easy to set up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this TCL window AC for free, and it’s been a great addition to our home. It was super easy to install and started cooling our small room (about 150 sq ft) almost immediately. For its size, it’s surprisingly powerful and doesn’t take up much space. The adjustable settings are simple to use, and the fan option is a nice bonus. Perfect for bedrooms, offices, or anywhere you need a little extra cool air!

Very convenient and get the job done
