Smartly Cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a Pennsylvania resident, I installed the TCL 10,000 BTU Smart Window Air Conditioner in anticipation of the hot summer months. Although I haven’t had the chance to fully experience its cooling capabilities yet due to the current chilly weather, I decided I can still provide insights based on the installation process and give my initial impressions.

Firstly, the installation was surprisingly straightforward, and I was able to set it up without any professional assistance. The instructions provided were clear, and the included accessories made the process hassle-free. The unit fits perfectly in my window and feels securely in place.

From an aesthetic standpoint, the air conditioner has a sleek design that doesn’t detract from the overall look of my home. The compact size is also a plus, as it doesn’t obstruct the view from the window. I did run it for a short while and I was surprised how quiet it was even on the high fan setting.

While I haven’t been able to test its cooling performance, I did connect it to my Wi-Fi network and explore its smart features including support for the new Matter protocol. The ability to control the air conditioner remotely via the TCL Home app and also using Alexa or Google Assistant and even Apple HomeKit, adds a layer of convenience, allowing me to adjust settings and monitor energy usage even when I’m away from home.

Overall, while I can’t comment on its cooling effectiveness yet, the TCL 10,000 BTU Smart Window Air Conditioner impresses with its easy installation, sleek design, and smart capabilities. I look forward to putting it to the test when the weather warms up, confident that it will provide reliable cooling comfort during the sweltering Pennsylvania summers.

Nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty sweet little AC unit. It cools the entire kitchen and living room in my house and I love having a remote control so I don’t have to walk all the way into the kitchen to shut it off.

Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful but not too loud. It’s Spring for me right now so it hasn’t been on for a long period of time it. My husband does run hot so we tried for a few hours (more than I wanted). This unit is 10,000 BTU the others we own are 8,000 so this one does keep more space cool. I cannot comment on whether it works faster yet as the home was not warm/hot to begin with. I will report back. Will definitely be on all summer.

What a great unit

I'm optimistic that it'll be easier on my electric bill and it's nice to be able to make adjustments with the smart features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 5/5 stars. This is such an amazing AC. It was super easy to throw into my window and it doesn’t pull as much energy as my other AC’s. I love that I San connect it to my phone so I can start it before arriving how to make sure it’s nice and comfortable when I come home and it’s not super loud or obnoxious. Once I get a bigger home I’d definitely purchase another one!

Great AC that does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent window ac. I finally put it up. It was quite heavy, I gotta admit, but not as bulky and heavier than others that I owned. It looks pretty good, and it operates just fine. I have a 300 square foot room, and it really makes it chilly with this thing on. It isn’t as loud and I do appreciate it.

AC for Me

This TCL Air Conditioner is as good or better than other Air Conditioners in its price range. This model comes with a handy remote but no smart features. This would work well for someone who doesn't need a WiFi enabled AC.

Performance wise, it works well for small rooms under 250 Sq. Ft. The Eco feature is useful for lowering Energy Bills. The Dehumidifier "Dry" feature is also a useful feature.

It can get loud though. Be aware of that if installing in a Bedroom.
