Shameless price gouging.

While the build quality of this set is high, there is nothing that justifies this much of a price hike from what we saw with the previous Interceptor around 4-5 years prior. I can only imagine the countless parents that have to do a double-take at what this little thing costs when their child asks for it. The year-by-year increases in price are OUTRAGEOUS considering the profit margin on these sets, even with licensing fees. Please, do better.

I was excited to get this set, but it turned out to be a big letdown, especially for the price. The piece count is too low for what it costs, and there are much better Star Wars sets with more value and detail.
Overall, this set feels overpriced for what you get. It seems like you're paying more for the Star Wars name than for the quality of the build. I wouldn’t recommend it

The price tag of this item is absolutely asinine. I understand that corporate greed is the norm now but at some point you have to keep the consumer in mind. Something like this in 2006 would be around 15 dollars less and that's including inflation margins.

Please don't buy this set at full price. YOU NEVER HAVE TO BUY LEGO AT FULL PRICE. At the very least, wait for May 4th or some other Double VIP event. The figures, ship design, build and play experience are all fantastic but tarnished by the fact that this set costs twice as much as it should.
