Cute build not very sturdy

Love this set, finished product is absolutely adorable. Not nearly as sturdy as some of the other botanical sets, even as I was attaching the leaves the bamboo sticks were practically falling apart. I like to display my botanical sets in the living room so that worries me about how well they will hold up. Other than that I love the concept and the inclusion of the lucky coin is wonderful, I chose not to hide it underneath so I can show it to anyone who asks about the set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If your set seems like it's not very sturdy, the best thing to do is double-check your build. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. Nice Except for Fragility

Up to the point of putting the leaves on, this is a relatively easy build. The places where the leaves connect to the stalks do not properly click. And yes, I have made sure that I have connected the bricks correctly. If you try to make any adjustments, the leaves and the end cap on the top of the stalks crumble off. I ended up using the lucky coin on one stalk since I couldn’t get the end cap out from my dog’s mouth before he chewed and swallowed it.
If you intend to move or make adjustments, I suggest gluing down the end caps of the stalks. Otherwise, once you finish it, put it in its place and then: Don’t Touch It. This is also true with the Chrysanthemum and Plum Blossom.

Satisfying Build

The bamboo was a fun little build. It went together smoothly and looks great. I am not a fan of dumping things in my builds, so I’ll be putting the ‘pebbles’ away. I’m sure the designer was trying to solve the issue but I would have preferred those be left out.

Bamboo

The lego set is overall nice but it's just the bamboo. When I was putting the bamboo on the leaves fell off so I added the bamboo and then tried to add the leaves back in, the bamboo just fell off. What I'm trying to say is that the bamboo needs to just be more tough I guess

Smaller than expected, underwhelming build

While I enjoy the beauty of this Lego piece.. I was disappointed in the size of the build. It it much smaller than expected. The build was also a bit boring, but maybe that's because I am used to the architecture builds? It was a very quick build.. from start to finish ~40 minutes. I was waiting for this set since it was announced last year and may have hyped myself up too much. It's beautiful and great to show off... just underwhelming
