I bought this River 2 Pro together with the bi-facial solar panel. It’s hard not to immediately fall in love with the setup. I am still in the initial uses of this power station. However, these are a few of my impressions. First of all, the combo of the power station and solar panel is compact and light, perfect for camping strips (but clearly not enough power for large appliances). Next, everything works as described, intuitive and simple; no manual is needed. Even the app is easy to use. The manual, however, does describe a specific charge and discharge cycle that is required when the unit is in prolonged storage in order to maintain its warranty (hence, its life). Thirdly, charging unit is insanely fast from a wall outlet. And lastly, the company responded very quickly to my emails, even on a weekend. Thus far, I have no buyer remorse.

The River 2 Pro Power Station packs a lot of 'juice' in such a small box. It looks great and feels solid with very good quality. This is my first time using a battery device and generator like this.
I purchased this to power a portable CPAP machine for 8 days on a high-desert, Utah river (SanJuan) rafting trip in mid-August. High temperature forecasted between 100 and 105 degrees F.
Based on the specs of the CPAP machine, the plan was 3 days for 10 hours per night at 20 watts/ hr. with a 20% margin for heat loss using the machine's 120 volt power brick. So, to recharge and power the remaining time, the 160 watt EcoFlow solar panel/generator should be sufficient to extend usage on river for 2 hours per day.
Rig worked at home under ideal circumstances and actually achieved 4 nights of usage at 8 hours per night at 19 watts per hour with 20% remaining on the power station. ******* UPDATE: River Pro 2 performed much better than expected! 1) The Trip changed. I used CPAP powered by River Pro 2 for 7 nights 8 hours per night. Actual high temperature was 99 degrees F. 2) I upgraded to an oem,12 volt DC power supply for the CPAP machine which reduced the actual wattage consumption to less than 8 watts/hr rather than 20 watts using standard 120 volt power plug/adaptor supplied by the manufacturer. 3) The 12v plug/power brick offered by the oem drew 60% less energy than the standard 120 volt power supply. 4) Because of weight/space limitations, I chose to not carry the 160 Watt solar panel on the river. 5) I tested the solar panel, recharging the River Pro 2 upon my return home for 1 hour on a bright sunny day. I layed the panel flat on the ground (not aimed at the sun). It produced 137 watts of energy over the hour. 6) To ensure the battery did not get wet or exposed to physical abuse, I sealed it in a plastic garbage bag and carried it in a 24 can soft cooler for protective padding. It was packed up for only 10 hours a day, so 'off-gassing' was not an offset
In summary, the River Pro 2 performed flawlessly! Invest in protection for the device. Take care of your equipment, and it will take care of you!
This is the 1st solar power station I've ever bought. So far, I am extremely happy with this. I am happy with the capability, the portability, the appearance and the cost. I've been looking at another brand but bought this instead and I am so glad I did. I wish it would have come with a charging cable for a solar panel.
I am extremely pleased with the Ecoflow RIVER 2 Pro. It is exactly what I was looking for to run the lights in my shed, and charge up the battery packs for my lawn equipment. It is light weight and easy to operate, and does exactly what the company claims it will do. I currently charge it up, when needed, in my home, but at some point I will get the solar panels to make it even more efficient. The purchase process was great, and customer service is spot on!! I needed the sales receipt to activate the warranty, but I lost my printed off copy. I sent an email to customer service and the responded quickly with a copy that I could download!! I highly recommend the RIVER 2 Pro!!!! Thank you Ecoflow!

It's surprised me how easy to use and set up. Been using it with my glacier and I haven't had any issues powering my cooler in the hot Nebraska weather. Plenty of out let's to charge my phone or lap top.

I have been looking for a way to provide independent power to my tool shed. The dream has always been to charge my batteries in the shed using solar power and avoid running wires to my stand alone shed. I will put some solar panels on top of the shed and have those charge the EcoFlow that will provide electricity to the battery chargers. What an excellent solution.
Overall, this product works great, but I have noticed that the output wattage doesn’t seem very accurate as I might have something charging and it says the output is at 0. Also, I sometimes have to press the AC button 2 or 3 times before it actually turns on. Then I’ll have something plugged in overnight and I’ll find that it shutoff sometime over night. Otherwise, it works fantastic for my needs!
I am using this with an ARB classic refrigerator and it was able to power the fridge for about 24 hours. The night temps were 85 degrees and peak daytime temps were 104 and even hotter inside the car. Happy with the performance.
One issue I have seen is that sometimes the refrigerator will not power on from the river. Not sure why but it will require unplugging the refrigerator then plugging back in and then it will work fine. This issue is strangely sporadic. I did make sure I have the DC power to never go to sleep.
