Missing pieces

Got this for my son for Christmas. Bag after bag missing multiple pieces. I’ve requested replacement parts from LEGO, which takes 2-3 weeks. Have resorted to looking for pieces from other legos to try and assemble this one. I’ve never had close to this many missing pieces before. For an expensive one like this, it’s very frustrating and disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a very smooth build from Lego. I get that they were trying to to transition from the back to the front of the build but the transition makes Les the side doors stick out and the gap in the front sides are not great. They really should have included at least one of the smaller set that are sold separately that go with the ship it would have made it worth the money. Not enough mini figures for the value. Very disappointed on not getting a smoother build.

While as of this review we have not built this set. We do have many UCS Star Wars sets built and on display. The techniques and sheer size and details make building the UCS sets a pleasure and have no doubt this will follow in that sentiment.

Putting this set together was both easy and complex at times. Making it very hard to take a break from the build. Attention to detail is awesome. I can see it being fun to play with, but let's be honest at the price it is definitely a display piece. Love the details. I did get one large plate that was bent but Lego is sending a replacement.
