The reason I am give a four LEGO rating has to do with the fact that as you go from the bottom up, the rooms get small to the point you can barely put a figure in to the bed. Percy’s room is only access through the door but would need tweezers. Seems rooms were supposed to be removable with the LEGO piece 6257592, but would likely destroy the room you are trying to remove(resulting in rebuild). Seems there was more thought put into to adding as much as possible rather than any reenactment of scenes. The room behind the bathroom is not accessible without removing the chimney. Seems this should have also been a part that could have been opened like the house itself. I really enjoy putting this together and had some positive features; such as the unlevel part of the Burrow, slanted windows, flue network, turning clock, and bewitched kitchen. Instructions on how to access each hidden room without separating the set would have been nice. Unlike the collectors Hogwarts train, this set leaves some playability behind such as, the hidden room, Percy’s room, small twin room, Ron’s room, front room right of the kitchen, and the chair in the living room. Still love Harry Potter Sets but lackluster about the playability to make scenes.
This build was so much fun! I thought I was done building the house and realized I still had 5 bags to go. All the little details such as the stained glass windows and the plants in the corner of the room are perfect! Way to hit it out of the park, Lego!
