I enjoy the actual build. But way too focused on being a play set. Don’t care about internal design, but even so this one was meh. Care more about size and exterior detail, and it was fine but I would buy literally thousands of dollars of sets if the scale and external design was worth the price point.
I think the exterior looks fantastic. Super fun build and I love the madam hooch minifigure. The play features are great. The interior is a bit dull. I think the price is too high for what you get.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle: Flying Less

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set constructs a compact tower of Hogwarts, measuring 10.5 inches tall, 12.5 inches wide, and 6 inches deep when unfolded. It includes the Quidditch equipment room, a Transfiguration classroom, Professor McGonagall’s office, and a trophy room displaying two of the 14 collectible Hogwarts portraits. The fold-out design and pull-out rooms allow for easy access, which is a plus for playability. The exterior captures the aesthetic of the Hogwarts grounds as seen in the first film, with accurate details like rockwork, exposed brick, and subtle plant life adding depth to the tan-heavy build. The broom-flying function, achieved with clear pieces attached to anti-stud elements, lets minifigures “fly,” adding a dynamic touch to the Quidditch lesson scene.
Minifigures and Features
The set includes six minifigures: Harry Potter, Neville Longbottom, Draco Malfoy, Oliver Wood, Professor McGonagall, and Madam Hooch. Madam Hooch stands out with a well-designed double-faced expression, capturing her stern yet spirited demeanor. Oliver Wood, appearing outside his Quidditch uniform for the first time, is a welcome addition, though his torso is generic and lacks standout detail. The student minifigures are standard first-year versions with short legs, offering nothing new to collectors. McGonagall, unfortunately, disappoints—her lack of skirt printing feels like a step back compared to earlier versions of the character, even from sets as far back as 2002.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m such a big Harry Potter fan and this was so much fun to put together. So many cool details, like a slide out Quidditch room and a slide out classroom! I love that it had the classic scene with Harry chasing Malfoy with the Rememberall. I even bought the additional set that goes with this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was sent to me for free in exchange for my honest review. We love Harry Potter here in this house and this was a great addition to our Harry Potter lego collection. It took me, 38 years old mom and my 7 years old daughter 2 hours to put it together. Lots of beautiful details like the windows and different shapes of building parts. What I like the most that it can be folded. Lots of extra pieces in case we lost them. The catalog was very easy to follow. Many characters and their magic wands are included.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm beyond excited to share my honest review of the Lego Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons set, which I received for free from Influenster.
This incredible set is an absolute dream come true for my 9-year-old son, who's obsessed with both Legos and Harry Potter! The sheer size of the set is impressive, with hours of building fun guaranteed. And the best part? It's device-free entertainment that fosters imagination, creativity, and logical skills.
As a parent, I'm blown away by the exceptional value this set offers. The beautifully packaged box contains a massive set that will keep my son engaged for hours on end. I know I can trust the Lego brand for its durability and quality, and I love how my son can use extra pieces to bring his own ideas to life.
A word of caution to parents with younger children and babies: please be mindful of the small pieces, which can be a choking hazard. And to all parents, let's be real - stepping on a Lego piece is a rite of passage!
In conclusion, the Lego Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons set is an absolute must-have for any young Harry Potter fan or Lego enthusiast. It's a magical building experience that will provide hours of entertainment, creativity, and imagination. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fun set to put together. It wasn’t too hard to do but in the beginning some of the brown pieces all looked alike. I had to pay special attention to what the directions were saying to do. It comes with many characters and geo random collectible portraits to put inside. This is going to look so nice next to my other set. I have to keep it high up because my son will definitely try to break it apart. The pieces are very sturdy and I wasn’t missing anything. I love to do puzzles and this is right up my alley to do. It’s great to be able to keep my hands busy while watching tv. So fun and a nice way to relax.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is a fan of the Harry Potter world, and we couldn't pass up the LEGO Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons set. This is one of the new products in the series that allows you to recreate scenes of flying lessons at Hogwarts. The set includes six mythical figures, among which, of course, is Harry Potter. An atmospheric set that perfectly conveys the spirit of Hogwarts. A constructor of medium complexity. It is not as large as the main modular parts of the Hogwarts castle, but the detailing was pleasantly surprising. I especially liked the "flying broomstick" mechanism thanks to a special mount, you can recreate a scene where students learn to fly. This set can be combined with our other sets and castles from the Harry Potter series, of which we already have several. This is a good addition to our collection. If you are a Harry Potter fan or collect the Hogwarts series, Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons will be a good addition to your collection. It is not very large, but has interesting details and figures. As a standalone set, it is more suitable for collectors and fans than for active play.
