This set is an excellent addition to any Lego city especially if you have the modular police station set. My only gripe is that the back of the truck is one stud too short and it obscures the head of the mini figure doughnut man when he’s inside it. Otherwise it’s an overall great set. This set receives an A- from the Brick Professor.

Lego is simply the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lego makes the absolute best products known to man. I don’t care if you have a toddler, or a 90 something year old you’re buying a gift for, Lego has something for everyone. Their instructions are so simplistic and the easiest way for a kid to learn to follow something on their own, really helping promote independent play. I swear both of my kids became better at putting together different kinds of toys from learning the basics from doing Lego sets. This donut truck was a hit with my 5 year old son, and my daughter who’s 9 loved it so much she took it apart and put it back together herself. They love building these, posing them, playing with other toys with these, and setting up photo shoots of their miniature worlds they create.
I’m also a huge fan of Lego including extra pieces, often the ones most likely to get misplaced or lost because of their size. They also typically include a Lego remover piece in the larger sets, which is a life savor for any parent with larger fingers or mom’s with manicured nails.
My kids love that I will save the cover of the box, and the instruction booklet and any extra pieces, store them in a zippered storage bag and deconstruct the set every couple of weeks, so they can go back over and over again to rebuild. It gives them something constructive to do with their hands and is great for their fine motor skills. And now that Lego has a set for almost anything under the sun, it appeals to everyone. Great inclusive toy that we will enjoy for years to come!

Neat little build, I thought the donut on the top would "click" together, but it seems it is made to have a little gap in the build. Seemed odd. It should have also been a tad taller to display the characters better when they are on the inside. I build was fun, and it looks great. This was only my second build in my re-found love for lego.

I absolutely love this genre of sets. My kids love the past years slushie and burger truck. The donut truck was very fitting as it is their favorite breakfast meal. They were just as excited if not more when I got this. I have seen some people upset with gap in the donut but this leads to fun workarounds and customization if buyers have the spare parts.
