There was a lot of excitement in our house about this set and the set fell flat. We received it and every member of my house was disappointed in the faces of Hagrid and Harry. I expected better from Lego. I, personally, do the brickheads and those faces are more intricate than what we saw on the package. We actually returned this set, as we were so disappointed in Lego for not creating a better set honoring this beloved scene from the books & movie.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love brick-built characters and animals and I love Harry Potter. This set checked all the boxes for me. It's a quick and interesting build and I'd love to see more HP sets like this one.
