The set is almost perfect. The only problem is you can only build 3 cars because there are only 3 bases, and I can't see anywhere that I can buy more bases. My daughter and son were fighting over what cars to build because they both have their favorite f1 teams
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're glad to hear your son and daughter like the cars so much! You can purchase extra bases for the F1® Team Race Cars at LEGO.build/PAB25 by searching for piece 6527928. We hope they have fun racing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure his interested my son would be in this. While he loves cars, trucks, and all construction vehicles, he’s not super into racing. He plays with duplo blocks pretty well, though, so I was excited to pick this set up. It went over really well! After the initial confusion of him wanting to build all ten cars at the same time (there are only three bodies) he was into it! He understood the pieces each car needed, and then he really found his groove and started building “rainbow cars” with three wings on the back. He reaches for this set pretty regularly now! It’s been great for imaginary play and motor skill coordination!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great Lego set! I love that the pieces are bigger and safer for younger kids to learn to build. It has a wide variety of options and different vehicles to build. My toddler really loved this set! So much fun for all!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blocks are large and easy for little hands. The colors are fun and bright. The pieces snap together easily. It’s stimulating for a 2 year old for sure, maybe a 3 year old but any older may get bored.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of a 2-year-old who loves race cars and Legos, this set was an absolute hit! From the moment we opened the box, my son was beyond excited—not only did he get to race the cars, but he also got to build and create using his imagination.
One of the things I appreciated most about this LEGO set is how durable the pieces are. My son can be rough with his toys, but these hold up perfectly, even after countless crashes and races across the floor. The cars stay together well, yet they’re still easy enough for little hands to take apart and rebuild, keeping the fun going for hours.
Another huge plus is the size of the pieces. They’re quite large, which gave me peace of mind knowing that I didn’t have to constantly worry about him sticking small parts in his mouth. Safety is always a priority, and this set was designed with young builders in mind—making it a great introduction to Legos without the choking hazard.
Beyond just building, this set encourages creativity and open-ended play. My son didn’t just follow the instructions—he experimented, mixed pieces in new ways, and created his own race cars. It’s the perfect balance of structure and imagination, making it an engaging and safe toy that grows with him.
If you have a little one who loves cars, racing, and hands-on fun, I highly recommend this set. It’s well-made, safe, and provides endless entertainment—definitely a great addition to any toddler’s toy collection!
