I purchased this for my 5 yr. old Grandson. I have lots of Lego sets displayed on my shelf and every time he comes over he makes a Bee line straight for them. He always wants to take them apart and rebuild them, but is left disappointed when he can't. So I figured it's finally time to get him a set of his own. This is a really great set as it has 3 different models that you can make out of it, and though it was a little hard for him at first because he can't read yet, he picked up on it pretty quick. The look of excitement on his face as it all came together was priceless, and he is excited to come back over and take it apart and make another one. I will definitely be purchasing more of this type if set to give to him. Hours of fun, time to connect with him, concentration, and pride when he completes them.
